Never ending story: xenon headlights (update)

Good news: I just got a call from the dealer where I got the now faulty xenon headlight.
The warranty will cover a new headlight. So I just need to pick it up in Sexau near Freiburg.

They’ll swap it for free and will adjust them after I readjusted them to compensate the malfunctioning range adjustment.

So, yes, eventually everything will be good.
