Leady Heathers wellness day

Okay, so after last saturdays excursion to Switzerland, I took Lady Heather down south for a little love and attention. Some people might think im totally nuts. Especially doing this trip twice on two consecutive saturdays. Well, yeah, mostly they are right. Who in the right set of mind would drive 400km + a few km of detours to get his car cleaned up?
But let me start from the beginning ;)

I got up at 0630 which is usually before waking up ;) and rushed out of the door, as I was to meet missis@ at the service area Alsbach on the A5. I drove off at 06:54 and reached the service station 37km later at 07:10h.

missis@ decided to join me to the south, as she needed to take her MINI elwood in for an inspection. So we first drove to the dealers in Sexau and arrived there a little bit early at 09:05h. minipu and Tigger joined us half an hour later and we dumped charlies two new winter tires in elwood, gave the mechanic a lot to do and drove on to do some food shopping for a snack while waiting for Lady Heather.

After a quick breakfast we drove south and crossed the border to Switzerland. After a sort of uneventful drive, we arrived in sunny Grenchen at autobrill and the guys started their work on Lady Heather. She was done at about 5 pm and here are the results:

I think that’s worth every single kilometer ;)

On the way back, we picked up some parts for hollis at Schubber + Tiefer where our parts guy deposited them in a plastic bag behind the dumpster *lol* and fetched elwood from the dealer in Sexau where he was waiting for us with bill and key in the glove box :)

On the way back, we stopped at our local steak place for a nice steak. We were finished by about 22:30 and missis@ and I drove home. It was really a great MINI day. Thanks to all involved!
