to brake or to break?

We had a garage day in Babenhausen last Saturday and actually we wanted to change the brakes on Elwood, missis@’s MCSC. We did the front brakes with no problems,  even though the brakes were still good for another 10,000km.

We checked Elwood’s rear brakes, but those were in perfect condition, so we left them alone. But we checked Charlie’s rear brakes on a hunch, as I heard some scraping and squeaking from the brakes lately.

The brake disks matched Charlie’s electric blue and showed signs of wear and cracks and as we disassembled the brakes we noticed, that the pads were glazed too. So it was really good, that minipu, our parts fairy, had brought a complete set of disks, pads and accessories. The torx screws holding the disks were very stubborn, but with a handy dose of rust remover they gave in ;)
