First GLP 2009-05-30

I usually blogged my GLP stuff here, but as Sus@nnes is going to be my co-pilot on a regular basis, we decided to launch an own blog for our adventures on the ‘ring.

It was quite an adventure to get ready for this race ;) As I drove my laps in Silverstone, I came out of Abbey corner sideways, so Dirk (2mD) and I decided to check Charlies suspension. It seems one of the rear shocks was blown and we swapped charlies suspension for Dirks stock suspension, which he had still lying in the attic.

So for the time being, I have his suspension until I can get Charlie a set of coilovers.

As I put on a set of new summer tires on charlies Ultraleggeras, I needed to have Charlie inspected and have this wheel-tire combination added to charlies papers. So on Friday I took a day off and started my odysee to get a TÜV guy to inspect my car. To cut a long story short, I made it with about 2 hours to spare before we had to drive to the ‘ring ;)
