7 days to go…

Actually I should’ve started to get really excited, but instead I’m worried.

I mean, after the dragon being closed down due to a landslide nothing else could go wrong, right?

Wrong, totally wrong…

International airtraffic has nearly come to a standstill thanks to a volcano on Iceland. I’m not sure if my flight is going to start as planned. The cloud of ashes seems to be moving and quite a bit of european airspace has been reopened, but the majority of flights are still cancelled and the planes are grounded.

Airlines have been flying in tourists stranded abroad with flights on visual approach with special permits and high altitude transit airroutes have been reopened. Things seem to be brightening up in european skies, but the cloud is moving towards canada and the usa.

Great! The dragon reopened, but I might still not be able to go… :(

I vote for particulate filters for volcanos. Now!
